About The Position

The Payloader Operator position will maintain factory supplies in a useable state and maintain the factory grounds in a safe and sanitary manner. Requirements

  • High School diploma or a GED certificate is required
  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to reference, read and understand how to use MSDS information
  • Individuals are required to submit to and successfully pass a Safety Screen that evaluates their ability to safely execute duties and tasks of this position
  • Must demonstrate abilities to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner including, but not limited to, both wheel and track type front end loaders, backhoe, tandem trucks, and forklifts

Responsibilities

  • Operates equipment to move coke and lime from large storage piles to factory bins and/or staging areas
  • Operates equipment to remove and haul away all trash and spalls
  • Operates equipment to remove snow when necessary
  • Unload coal
  • Performs daily maintenance checks of equipment
  • Performs routine maintenance and servicing of equipment
  • Responsible to maintain the pay loader in a clean and safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned, which may include operation of coal transfer equipment and coal dust cleaning work
  • Works overtime as required
