About The Position
We are looking for a Screed Operator to join our team. As a Screed Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will support daily operations with our paving crew by operating paving equipment and performing general tasks.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1–year of experience operating equipment (Paving Equipment).
- Willing to travel
- Willing to work weekends
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Operator on asphalt screed paver with normal adjustments for obtaining proper depth, grade & finished cross section of asphalt material/screed extensions.
- Set up of job site, tack coat, string line etc.
- Assist crew with shoveling and raking.
- Assist crew with job site clean up.
- Assist trucks when backing under difficult conditions to help avoid injury or property damage.
- Other duties as assigned.
