About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Paver Installer to join our landscape construction team. This role is responsible for executing high-quality paver installations with minimal supervision, including mortar set, sand set, and pedestal systems. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skill in hardscape installation, contributes to daily production, supports quality control in the field, and helps guide less-experienced crew members through example and teamwork.

Requirements

• 3+ years of landscape construction or hardscape installation experience (Technician II equivalent or higher)
• Proven experience installing mortar-set, sand-set, and pedestal paver systems
• Strong proficiency in grading, base prep, and hardscape installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret plans, elevations, and construction details
• Ability to perform high-quality work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quality focus
• Basic construction math skills for layout and measurements

Responsibilities

• Perform daily installation of mortar-set, sand-set, and pedestal paver systems with precision and efficiency
• Ensure proper base preparation, compaction, elevation control, and drainage for all installations
• Execute detailed layout, alignment, cutting, and finishing of paver surfaces to specification
• Maintain consistent quality standards for flatness, joint spacing, and overall durability
• Assist with grading, fine grading, and slope adjustments to support hardscape installation
• Support additional hardscape work including retaining walls and related features
• Perform layout and elevation checks using laser levels and measurement tools
• Safely operate small to mid-sized construction equipment (cut saws, compactors, skid steers, etc.)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to support efficient daily production
