About The Position

Sir Lines-A-Lot is hiring a Pavement Marking Laborer to join our Operations team in Edina, MN. This is a hands-on field position working with an experienced crew to install pavement markings on highways, roadways, intersections, and parking lots. Sir Lines-A-Lot provides pavement marking and traffic control services throughout the region. Requirements

  • Class A or Class B CDL required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and travel as project schedules require.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a crew.
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Pavement marking experience with thermoplastic, paint, epoxy, tape, or long-line striping strongly preferred.
  • Traffic control or roadway construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install thermoplastic, paint, epoxy, tape, and other pavement marking materials.
  • Prepare pavement surfaces for marking applications.
  • Install long-line highway markings and short-line markings, including intersections, arrows, messages, and parking lots.
  • Load and unload pavement marking materials, cones, stencils, and equipment.
  • Follow the Foreman's direction to complete projects safely and efficiently.
  • Complete work according to DOT specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
