Pavement Marking - CDL A or B
About The Position
TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Pavement Marking CDL A or B Driver to join its highway striping team. The role supports road safety by helping install pavement markings with precision and quality. The driver transports the crew and equipment to and from job sites, operates company vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards, and assists with operating and maintaining pavement-marking equipment. Work may involve flexible hours, nights, weekends, overtime, and travel. Candidates must pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and controlled-substance screening before hire.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand work orders and maps, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR review, and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating heavy trucks and/or pavement-marking equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work with the highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement-marking materials.
- Operate pavement-marking equipment, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
- Transport pavement-marking equipment and crew to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation.
- Assist with setting up and operating pavement-marking equipment as needed.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper loading.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures on the road and at job sites.
