About The Position

WQS Non-Destructive Testing (WQS NDT) is recruiting experienced PAUT Technicians for Fall 2026 Turnaround and Call-out scopes in Central and Northern Alberta. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join the local WQS NDT Call-Out team afterward. The company is offering a chance to win a brand-new vehicle to eligible employees who commit to and complete their entire Turnaround assignment.

Requirements

• PAUT Certified – level 2 or level 3 preferred (BINDT, CSWIP, CGSB).
• Minimum three (3) years of Phased Array experience.
• Must be Fit for Duty at all times.
• Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Additional Surface inspection certifications (PT, MT, XRF).
• First Aid Certification.
• Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Non-Destructive Testing procedures.
• Utilize Phased Array technology for inspections.
• Comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace, including alcohol and drug testing.
• Demonstrate high standards of safety and align with best-in-class company culture.
