About The Position

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Patrol Security Supervisors to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Patrol Security Supervisors play a key leadership role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement while overseeing on-site security operations and personnel. Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms and emergencies, supervising officers, and maintaining detailed reports and logs. This role requires professionalism, strong leadership, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have or be able to obtain an ASRB
This is a driving post (must have good MVR and Valid Driver's License).
Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Weekend availability
Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping
High School Diploma or equivalent
State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Prior supervisory experience in security or a related field
2+ years of verifiable Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience
1+ years of verifiable customer service or leadership experience
Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Complete and review incident reports and daily activity logs
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees in a professional manner
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
Supervise and support on-duty security officers during assigned shifts
Conduct shift briefings and assign posts to ensure proper coverage
Serve as the primary point of contact for site leadership and SEI management
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to officers
Ensure officers adhere to post orders, reporting standards, and company policies
