About The Position

As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for providing armed security across all BIW facilities. This role involves adhering to all company and department operating procedures, documenting incidents through reports, and maintaining logs. You will be required to work at fixed posts, perform waterborne assignments, and conduct walking checks of facilities. A government security clearance is mandatory for this position, requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim security clearance within 45 days of hire.

Requirements

• Be a US Citizen for consideration
• Be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire
• High school diploma or GED
• Be able to work any of three 8-hour shifts
• Be able to work weekends and holidays
• Be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required
• Successfully complete psychological testing and medical review
• Be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
• Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties

Nice To Haves

• Police or security-related training
• Minimum of one year in security-related field
• Watercraft operations certified
