About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist South. This is a PRN opportunity. Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Responsibilities
- Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient, utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
- Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
- Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
