About The Position
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, in Williamsburg, VA, is currently seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. This is a Flexi/PRN position with rotating shifts. The role involves safely escorting and transporting patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara, communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients, and ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
- BLS Certification/Licensure

- Previous patient care experience (Strongly Preferred)
