About The Position
Come join the Patient Transport Team!! This role is responsible for the safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts, communicating any special needs or potential safety issues encountered during patient lifting to staff, and assisting with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts.
- Communicate to staff any special needs encountered before, during, or after the lifting of a particular patient, especially those regarding potential safety issues.
- Assist with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment.
- Performs related duties as required.
