About The Position
The Transporter performs various procedures and tasks assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including the surgical patient, under the direction and supervision of a staff nurse at all times. The Transporter transports patients to various areas throughout the hospital including discharge.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency.
- Must complete the 4-6-week orientation program
- AHA, ARC BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
