About The Position

Under general supervision, this role involves working with a team to transport pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients to and from various areas within the Hospital, including patient rooms, diagnostics areas, surgery, and admitting. The Patient Transporter maintains communication with a dispatcher via a two-way radio to receive transport and other requests. Responsibilities also include documenting transport activities and ensuring the cleanliness and order of transportation-related equipment such as gurneys and wheelchairs. This position is at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, where caregivers are valued and empowered to provide patient-focused, whole-person care.

Requirements

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
