This position is responsible for assisting and supporting all departments by transporting patients to and from units/departments using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds. The role involves ensuring appropriate patient identification, patient comfort and safety (including assisting in lifting, moving, and positioning patients), and providing necessary patient information. The Patient Transporter will also care for and clean wheelchairs/stretchers, initiate repair actions when needed, and manage oxygen supplies and regulators. Coordination with other transporters based on patient schedules is essential to ensure smooth transport operations, and communication of patient information to nurses and diagnostic departments is required. The work schedule for this full-time role is Tuesday to Friday, from 1:30pm to 11:00pm, totaling 36 weekly hours.
