About The Position
Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA, is currently hiring a Patient Transporter for a Part Time, Rotating Shift. Work hours will be primarily 11am - 9pm, along with some weekend rotations. This role safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. They communicate clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients, and ensure adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
- BLS
- Previous patient care experience (Required)
Responsibilities

- Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients.
- Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.
