Patient Transporter/Day Shift/Full Time

About The Position
Transports patients of all ages to and from all departments within the hospital complex in a friendly, professional and ethical manner. Trained to perform all Physical Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, Admitting and patient discharge transportation requirements. Must display strong leadership and coordination. Performs other related duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must be able to lift, move and transport patients.
- Must be able to communicate with patients and staff.
- Must adhere to hospital safety standards and proper body mechanics.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred.
- Patient focused and customer service oriented.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
