As a Patient Transporter, you'll provide a reassuring presence while escorting patients throughout our hospital. Join us in our mission to provide quality care and make a difference in our patients' lives. This is a Full Time Role - 40 Hours a Week with shifts M-F 9 am - 5:30 pm, and requires working 2 holidays per year. The role involves lots of walking across the BJH Campus and requires direct patient interaction. There is a Partnership with BILD for Career Development and Growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

• Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup
• CPR/AED

Responsibilities

• Transports and lifts non-ambulatory patients, x-rays, medical records, specimens, and other special deliveries throughout hospital campus.
• Pays close attention to patient safety protocols.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional.
• Completes assigned tasks within department expectations.
