About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to hire a Patient Transporter/Office Specialist to join our team at Baptist Nassau. In this role, you will provide exceptional service by welcoming patients, assisting with registration and scheduling, performing clerical duties, and safely transporting patients throughout the hospital. This position plays an essential role in delivering a positive patient experience while supporting efficient hospital operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Basic Life Support Required

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and families with professionalism and compassion.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, filing, answering phones, and maintaining accurate records.
• Safely transport patients throughout the hospital using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds while following established safety protocols.
• Maintain transport equipment in clean, safe, and working condition.
• Promote positive communication and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other hospital departments.
• Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
