About The Position

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient physical transport of patients within the hospital. This includes transports for admissions, discharges, and between units and diagnostic testing departments. The role may also involve transporting equipment and supplies to support departmental and hospital operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR BLS (American Heart Association healthcare provider) within 3 months of hire
• AED training within 3 months of hire
• Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, nursing staff, and physicians.
• Verbal and written English skills for clear communication.
• Organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to use and apply correct body mechanics when positioning and transporting patients.
