Requirements
- Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment
- Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Transportation experience preferred
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology
- Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
- Performs darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties.
- Performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
- Files patient reports and retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
- Utilizes telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and runs errands throughout the facility.
