About The Position

This role is responsible for distributing Sterile Processing equipment and supplies throughout the campus. The position also involves assisting with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment. A key responsibility is the safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts and communicating any special needs or potential safety issues encountered during patient handling to staff.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Help distribute Sterile Processing equipment and supplies throughout the campus.
• Assist with transporting patients of all ages, supplies, and equipment.
• Be responsible for the safe performance of mechanically appropriate patient lifts.
• Communicate to staff any special needs encountered before, during, or after the lifting of a particular patient, especially those regarding potential safety issues.
• Performs related duties as required.
