About The Position

Responsible for moving patients to various locations throughout the hospital. This role requires patient care. The Patient Transport Associate will assist patients or lift them into wheelchairs or stretchers, transport patients to various locations in the hospital for medical procedures, and ensure patients are comfortable and safe during transit. They will also monitor the scheduling system for transport requests and complete them promptly, as well as deliver laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Customer Service Experience 0-1 year required
Ability to complete the physical tasks of the job including independently lifting 50 pounds.

Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
