Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification (provided by Geneva General Hospital)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training (provided by Geneva General Hospital)

Responsibilities
- Provides safe transportation for patients using various modes, such as wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Assists nursing personnel with transporting medically complex patients to ensure safe and continuous monitoring.
- Transports patients utilizing infection prevention practices as appropriate.
- Responds to calls in a timely manner.
- Promptly communicates any delays to appropriate area.
- Utilizes established communication tools such as the Ticket to Ride.
- Performs non-routine work assignments as assigned by Nurse Manager or Clinical Leader.
- Assists customer in locating various departments.
- Displays a warm and welcoming demeanor to patients and families.
- Prioritizes requests and communicates expected response times.
- Plans work and routes taken in order to maximize efficiency.
