About The Position

Priority Patient Transfer is hiring 1 Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants, for an existing role for our Belleville, ON Location. You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence. You can provide outstanding customer service and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid First Responder Certification OR Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant Certification OR working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR Fire Fighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• Valid BLS Certification
• Valid G class driving license
• Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• Safe driver with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• Up to date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) must be valid within last 12 months)
• Comfortable with 12hrs shifts
• Night and weekend availability if requested

• Training for First Responder if needed
• BLS training if needed
