UPMC Mercy Vision Institute, located in the Mercy Pavilion at 1622 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, is hiring a Patient Services Representative to support a high-volume ophthalmology practice. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional front-line patient service, including registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and coordinating patient flow to ensure an efficient and positive experience for the 250–350 patients served daily. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care. This position works Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with start times varying based on clinic needs (the office is typically open between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.). Occasional travel (5%25 or less) to satellite offices may be required only in rare, extreme staffing situations.
