About The Position

As a Patient Sitter, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. You will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time to the care team to respond quickly.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• 0-6months Work Experience
• State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Sitter monitors the patient closely at all times and never leaves the patient alone to ensure patient safety.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Performs other general patient care duties as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Notifies the Registered Nurse immediately of any patient concerns.
• Provides support for the nurse’s station as assigned.
