About The Position
The Patient Sitter - Float Pool position at Resurrection Medical Center is responsible for sitting with and observing patients and their surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent injuries. This role assists the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sit with and observe the patient and his/her surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent possible injuries.
- Assist the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.
