About The Position

At Shenandoah Oncology, the Patient Services Supervisor oversees front-office operations and leads a team dedicated to delivering a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate patient experience. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare leader who excels at supporting staff, improving processes, resolving challenges, and ensuring administrative operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include supervising front-office team members, managing patient service workflows, addressing patient concerns, overseeing financial and operational processes, and supporting the day-to-day functions that help deliver exceptional care.

Requirements

Associate Degree in a healthcare field or at least 5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the front desk (patient registration/cashier) and records management.
Supervises reconciliation of cash bags daily with fee tickets and arranges for cash pick-up with cash management office.
Resolves patient inquiries, complaints, or concerns regarding accounts or interactions with staff.
Reviews and manages budget analysis.
Runs necessary reports for staff to complete responsibilities.
Communicates with patient management on operational status for scheduling appointments.
Reviews and manages merging of patient accounts in the clinical information system.
Reconciles monthly operations account, processes requests for records and subpoenas, and orders office supplies.
Supervises staff front office.
Other duties may be assigned or modified as business needs dictate.
