About The Position

Valley View's Eagle Valley Family Practice clinic is seeking an energetic, Full-Time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist to be the first contact for our patients in the front office! This role involves full-time scheduling and registration at a busy primary care practice located in Eagle. This is a Monday-Friday position. Eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Clerical skills: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
Exceptional customer service skills required
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Receptionist/clerical experience required
Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Patient care background preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred

Responsibilities

Providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties
Organizing patient flow
Keeping physicians and patients on schedule
Maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner
Handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately
Assisting with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner
