Patient Services Specialist/ UW Medical Center - Northwest - Pelvic Health
About The Position
UW Medical Center - Northwest -Pelvic Health has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. This is a temporary position for three to six months. The role is conveniently located near public transportation and offers an opportunity to provide career growth. The specialist will be responsible for providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging. They will also be responsible for scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments, obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information, and partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery. Other duties may be requested.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
- An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
