This role requires exemplary interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families in sensitive situations, demonstrating critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment. The specialist will manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and arrival/departure desk activities, ensuring accuracy and an outstanding patient experience. They will also encourage patient use of front-end technology, maintain confidential patient information, assist with billing functions, and monitor inventory of medications and emergency equipment.
