We are currently searching for a PRN Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our OrthoCarolina Huntersville office location for our Urgent Care Practice.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills
Working knowledge of insurance
High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor's degree
Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.

Responsibilities

Greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.
Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.
Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges, Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.
Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.
