About The Position
Valley View's Rocky Mountain Urology clinic is seeking an energetic, full-time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist to be the first contact for our patients in the front office! We're looking for a team player who is eager to learn! Responsibilities include providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately. The Registrar also assists with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clerical skills: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Receptionist/clerical experience required
Nice To Haves
- Patient care background preferred
- Reception experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred
