Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Patient Services Specialist, working alongside a collaborative team in Gastroenterology South Endoscopy Centers located in Tualatin and Oregon City. Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in a medical office, is strongly preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in Surgery or other complex scheduling is preferred.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
Excellent attendance and work ethic.
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

Specialty care GI experience is a plus!
Epic experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

Checking in and out new/established patients.
Promoting efficient physician scheduling and patient access by properly scheduling/rescheduling patients’ appointments and/or surgeries according to all office protocols and physician requests in an efficient and timely manner.
Obtaining and completing insurance information.
Answering phones on multi-line system.
Processing of incoming referrals and electronic fax submissions.
Updating registration and EMR records as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
