About The Position

Patient Services Specialist – See Vision Eye Institute | Lake Worth, FL Are you a natural communicator looking to put your skills to work in a meaningful setting? If you have a background in customer service, retail, or hospitality and want a job with regular hours and real purpose, we want to hear from you. See Vision Eye Institute is a surgical ophthalmology practice newly located in a beautiful, brand-new facility in Lake Worth, FL. We recently expanded to include our own on-site surgery center, making us one of the few practices in Palm Beach County offering this level of specialized care. Our patients are making important decisions about their vision and their health - and the person they meet first is you. No medical experience required. We'll teach you what you need to know. What you bring is the energy, warmth, and critical thinking that no one can teach. This is not a typical receptionist job. You'll own the patient journey end to end - and that means real responsibility. You'll manage clinic and surgical scheduling, verify insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, and ensure every patient is fully prepared before they arrive. You'll serve as the link between patients, our clinical team, and insurance companies, keeping everything moving without dropping the ball. Requirements

  • Warm, outgoing, and genuinely people-focused
  • Sharp, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communicator - in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • Must be able to commute to Lake Worth, FL
  • Schedule Monday through Friday. No evenings. No weekends. Consistent hours you can count on.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality strongly considered
  • Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, or EMR systems a plus — not required
