About The Position
UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Clinics has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. This is a full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) position on the Day Shift, working Mondays through Fridays. The UW Medicine Eastside Specialty Center offers world-class services delivered by expert UW Medicine physicians and providers, conveniently located near public transportation in North Bellevue. Services available include Allergy and immunology, Audiology, Dermatology, Ear, nose & throat care, General surgery, Hepatology (liver), Otolaryngology [ENT] - head and neck surgery, Physical therapy, Radiology and imaging, Rheumatology (connective tissue disease), Urogynecology, and Urology. Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience
Responsibilities
- Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
- Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
- Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
- Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
- Other duties as requested
