Organizes day-to-day clerical function in the delivery of quality health care services through the utilization of standard work. Provides functional guidance to clerical team members. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 year of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversees development and delivery of functional training to clerical staff using standard work.
  • Responsible for auditing and developing action plans for process improvement.
  • Schedules complex incoming/outgoing referrals, complex surgeries and in-office procedures, tests, including medical record review of incoming referrals.
  • Performs tracking and trending collaborative review/audits within department/practice.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert/resource to the department/practice.
  • Possesses the ability to perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate and Intermediate roles when necessary.
  • Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
