Requirements
- 1 year experience in receptionist work.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
- Filing patient reports.
- Retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology.
- Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
- Maneuver through reception area, as well as, outside storage area.
- Provide clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
