About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Patient Services Manager to lead our patient dining team in an acute care hospital setting in Augusta, GA. This is a great opportunity for a foodservice leader who enjoys developing teams, improving the patient experience, and ensuring every meal is delivered safely, accurately, and with care.

Requirements

Associate degree with at least one year of related foodservice experience, or a bachelor’s degree in foodservice management, hospitality, nutrition, or a related field
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Nice To Haves

At least one year of foodservice management experience preferred
Acute care or healthcare foodservice experience strongly preferred
Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian preferred
ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead daily patient foodservice operations and ensure meals meet dietary orders, medical direction, and patient preferences
Hire, train, coach, and develop patient services team members
Ensure special and modified diets are prepared and delivered accurately
Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and help the team achieve service goals
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, food safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards
Partner with clinical and hospital leadership on quality improvement programs
Participate in departmental meetings, patient rounding, and facility-wide initiatives
Monitor service standards, staffing, workflow, and overall team performance
