About The Position

Dinosaur Orthodontics is seeking friendly, patient, and dependable individuals to join their Patient Services Team. This role is crucial in creating a warm, supportive, and stress-free experience for families navigating their child's orthodontic journey, from initial consultation to ongoing treatment. The position offers full training in scheduling, patient communication, workflows, and insurance basics, with pay provided during the learning period. Many successful team members come from backgrounds in childcare, education, retail, hospitality, or customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Positive, patient-centered attitude with a genuine passion for helping patients
  • Friendly, calm, and reassuring communication style
  • Strong phone skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and results-focused
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric, dental, or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls with warmth, professionalism, and a family-friendly approach
  • Schedule appointments
  • Assist with general questions about treatment, insurance, payment plans, etc
  • Verify basic insurance information
  • Conduct outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and unscheduled treatment outreach
  • Accurately document patient interactions and maintain organized, up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with clinical and business team members to ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient
