About The Position

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a part-time Female Patient Service Technician with a passion for human services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years’ acceptable office experience
  • Word processing, spreadsheet and database experience necessary
  • Must be flexible enough to respond to shifting priorities and to take direction from program administrative staff members

Nice To Haves

  • One-year acceptable experience in the human services field
  • Course work, experience, or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, residential treatment or related disciplines
  • Experience with Urine analysis collection and monitoring preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the outpatient treatment program, primarily in data entry and all Urine Analysis collection.
  • Suggesting and recommending changes in program policy and procedure.
  • Providing high quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible.
  • Entering program and collection data.
  • Tracking census information, as directed.
  • Completing all UA collections for facility per protocol.
  • Assisting in the delivery of recovery-based skill building education to patients in either an individual or group setting, as needed.
  • Clearly and accurately documenting all interactions with patients.
  • Preparing forms and/or documents.
  • Maintaining and processing all program records.
  • Attending and participating in staff meetings as directed.
  • Meeting with program staff, consultants, and attending other meetings as directed.
  • Engaging in clear, consistent, and professional communication with all patients, program staff, service providers and community members.
  • Promoting and modeling teamwork and collaboration with co-workers.
  • Supporting other departments within the program, as needed.
  • Answering multi-line phones; transferring calls to appropriate staff member; and taking accurate messages when appropriate.
