About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their Northcross location in Austin, TX. This is a full-time, entry-level position with varying hours between Monday and Friday, 7 am to 7 pm. The compensation is between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity. The role offers a solid work-life balance and a PSS Ladder Program.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED is required
• Must be organized, adaptable and able to work well with others or independently
• Candidate will be required to travel to other locations as needed
• Candidate to provide outstanding customer service and get things done
• This position requires travel to multiple clinics

• Process referrals
• Schedule patients
• Complete the intake process
• Data entry

• Other tasks as needed
• Greets patients
• Answers phones
• Operates front office of outpatient centers
• Supports therapists and therapy assistants
• Daily cash balancing and weekly banking deposits
