About The Position

This is a full-time, day shift position. Join our Gastroenterology (GI) Clinic as the Patient Service Specialist! Bilingual and previous healthcare experience strongly preferred! The Patient Service Specialist provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties, organizes patient flow to keep physicians and patients on schedule, maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner, and screens office manager, physician, and nurse calls, handling them appropriately.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Clerical: typing filing, scheduling, computer, phone and people skills
Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills

Nice To Haves

Bilingual preferred
Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred
Two years in a reception or clerical field preferred

Responsibilities

Provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties.
Organizes patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule.
Maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner.
Screens office manager, physician and nurse calls, handling appropriately.
