About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to float between multiple outpatient clinics in the North Austin area, including Liberty Hill, Steiner, North Austin, and Pflugerville. This PRN position requires flexibility in hours, with shifts varying between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively, providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include managing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting co-pays, arriving and scheduling patients, and generating billing and closing reports.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED is required
