Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for their Midland Park and Hawthorne locations. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources by coordinating and administering the facility’s “front office” activities. The specialist will manage patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record preparation, clinic statistics and report compilation, and data collection regarding patient demographics and third-party payers. They will also be responsible for obtaining and tracking authorizations, and collecting, reconciling, and preparing daily bank deposits for over-the-counter cash. The position requires exceptional communication skills and availability for all shifts Monday-Friday, early mornings and evenings.
