Patient Service Specialist - Medical Front Office
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their outpatient clinics in the Austin, TX area. This PRN (as needed) position requires the candidate to travel to multiple outpatient clinics, including Pflugerville, North Austin, Steiner, and Liberty Hill. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, arriving and scheduling patients, generating billing reports, and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED is required
