About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their Coppell, TX location. This is a part-time, entry-level position with 18 hours per week. The role requires someone who is organized, adaptable, and can work both independently and collaboratively. The candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Travel to other locations may be required. The position involves processing referrals, scheduling patients, completing the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, reviewing benefits with patients, collecting copays, managing patient arrivals and scheduling, and generating billing and closing reports.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED is required
