About The Position

Nevada Dental Benefits is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Service Representative to join our dental team at the Teamsters Box Canyon location. This position plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience and supporting the daily operations of the dental office. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
Comfortable working with computer systems and electronic patient records
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

Previous dental, medical, or healthcare front office experience preferred
Experience with dental insurance or dental practice management software is a plus

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Schedule and confirm dental appointments
Assist with patient check-out and follow-up scheduling
Verify patient eligibility and insurance information
Maintain accurate patient demographic and account information
Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
Communicate treatment, scheduling, and financial information clearly and professionally
Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements
Assist with administrative duties and other office responsibilities as needed
Provide excellent customer service and help resolve patient concerns appropriately
