This is a full-time opening for a Patient Service Representative at our Comprehensive Primary Care Associates office located at 13303 Tesson Ferry.

Requirements

Project a positive and professional image over the phone, and in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
Possess the ability to multi-task and stay organized
Be driven by a strong desire to delivery quality customer service
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
1 or more years of experience working with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of the different types of health insurance plans; i.e. HMO’s, PPO’s, etc.
PC/Windows proficiency.
Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls for the office
Ask pertinent questions related to patient symptoms and relay this information to the provider
Schedule appointments
Handle faxes
