About The Position

This role provides clerical and office support within a physician clinic. Responsibilities include reception, telephone handling, managing medical records, charge entry, processing referrals, and retrieving medical information from various systems. The position also involves communicating and collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The role requires demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Requirements

  • Previous work history demonstrating basic office and computer skills.
  • Experience with filing.
  • Experience with telephone answering.
  • Experience with reception.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, E-mail, Excel).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Sedentary Work: prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
